Location: Sedenak, Johor Employment Type: Contract (Project-Based) Lead Technical Excellence on a Major Data Centre Project Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Electrical) to oversee construction quality, compliance, and project execution for a large-scale data centre development. Key Responsibilities Lead quality assurance and quality control activities on-site. Monitor electrical construction works for compliance with specifications, codes, and project requirements. Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Review contractor deliverables, methodologies, and technical submissions. Manage quality-related issues and oversee corrective actions. Prepare inspection reports and project documentation. Participate in progress, technical, and coordination meetings. Provide technical guidance to site teams and project stakeholders. Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Registered Professional Engineer or Graduate Engineer with BEM . Minimum 10 years of construction project experience . Strong understanding of electrical systems, QA/QC processes, and site supervision. Experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred. Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.
