Surface Material Inspector #SMIPHM

Qualifications: Minimum D3 in Engineering, preferably Petroleum, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering , or related fields. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry or exploration activities , particularly in Quality Control of materials, Piping & Surface Equipment, Construction, and Structural works . Field experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge and experience in inspection and Quality Control methods , including NDT/NDE . Familiar with API 6A, API 5L, API 598, API 2B, API 520, API 527, ANSI/ASME/ASTM standards related to materials, piping, and pressure vessels. Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant Quality Assurance standards. Knowledge of construction material specifications is highly preferred. Hold ASNT Level II (or equivalent) certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), MPI, and DPT . Hold a valid Welding Inspector certification . Able and willing to work in remote areas . Able to pass a Jaeger near-vision test . Good command of English , both verbal and written. Strong, professional, and good interpersonal skills.
