Job Description Review incoming excavation and building design packages to ensure data completeness, model integrity, geometry, quantities and technical specifications are suitable for procurement and construction. Extract and validate Material Take-Offs (MTO), including excavation volumes, ground support systems, rockbolts, steel sets, structural, architectural and MEP quantities. Develop and maintain an integrated 3D design model, incorporating design updates and monitoring design maturity at key project stages. Track quantity changes resulting from design revisions and provide clear variance analyses to Technical, Estimating, Finance, Procurement and Operations teams. Identify design inconsistencies, clashes, missing information and multidisciplinary coordination issues; escalate critical items to the Technical Director. Maintain traceability of design assumptions, model versions, RFIs and design changes, ensuring all information is appropriately documented and controlled. Support the preparation of cost baselines, work-package scopes and procurement requirements through accurate and validated design data. Contribute to the definition of design interfaces, handover points, trade sequencing and construction phasing requirements. Develop 4D model outputs, visualisations and construction sequence simulations to support planning, site access and delivery coordination. Coordinate the integration of survey and as-built information into the project model. Compare as-built conditions and quantities against design and contractual requirements, highlighting discrepancies and supporting remedial-work or change assessments. Work closely with Design, Technical, Construction, Procurement, Planning and Commercial teams to ensure design information is translated into construction-ready deliverables. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Engineering, BIM/Digital Engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience in BIM/VDC, design coordination, digital engineering or model-based quantity management on major construction or infrastructure projects. Experience in underground works, tunnelling, rock excavation or ground-support systems is highly desirable. Strong ability to review multidisciplinary design models and identify coordination issues, data gaps and constructability risks. Demonstrated experience in Material Take-Offs, quantity tracking, design change management and model version control. Proficiency with BIM and coordination tools such as Solibri, Navisworks, Revit and/or Civil 3D ; experience with 4D planning tools is an advantage. Good understanding of construction sequencing, work packaging, procurement interfaces and as-built data management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and work effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
