Let's create impact beyond tomorrow What awaits you Drive and coordinate sustainability activities across the APAC region in line with Krones sustainability strategy and ESG objectives Act as the APAC Sustainability Officer within the established APAC Sustainability Network and support regional sustainability governance and reporting Coordinate sustainability execution for the production plant in APAC, ensuring strong local implementation, monitoring, and ongoing operational support Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations, including water management, wastewater, waste and hazardous waste handling, energy efficiency, and emissions Coordinate and align with APAC plant management, HSE, and Quality functions, who remain the primary interface to local authorities and regulators Act as sustainability expert interface towards auditors and internal stakeholders, supporting audits, assessments, and corrective actions Ensure effective execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 14001–certified Environmental Management System (EMS) for our APAC production plant, including audit support Monitor and report KPIs sustainability related to energy, water, waste, emissions, and overall environmental performance at plant and regional level. Drive resource efficiency, reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement in alignment with APAC and Group sustainability targets Coordinate the ESG representatives/ sustainability coordinators across APAC subsidiaries to ensure consistent application of sustainability standards and best practices Take care of social sustainability topics in APAC, including diversity and inclusion, employee health and well-being, occupational health initiatives, and awareness Support alignment of social sustainability practices across APAC entities, considering cultural, regulatory, and organizational specifics Prepare inputs for APAC sustainability meetings and support cross-functional initiatives involving for example, Quality, Operations, HR Your Profile You contribute Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Management, ESG, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Strong knowledge of environmental laws, ESG standards, and sustainability regulations in manufacturing environments Experience or solid understanding of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and audit processes Knowledge of sustainability KPIs, resource efficiency, and environmental performance monitoring Experience in the bottling, packaging, or industrial manufacturing sector is an advantage Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Krones portfolio or systems is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong project management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills High learning aptitude and ability to work across cultures within a regional APAC setup Your application Interested?
