About The Role
Your role As a Import & Export Operative , your mission is to [ Take responsibility of customs clearance of import&export, ensure clearance process efficiency and compy with customs AEO requirement ] . You will report to [ Import & Export Senior Supervisor ]. You will • Processing Trade and Bonded Business Management - Responsible for the daily operation and tracking of processing trade business, including the recordation, modification, closure, and related document management of manuals - Regulate the import/export, inventory, transfer, and closure processes for bonded materials in accordance with customs regulatory requirements - Assist the head of customs affairs in ensuring compliance in processing trade management, ensuring consistency between manuals, physical goods, and documents • Customs Bonded and Customs Affairs System Operation - Proficient in operating relevant customs systems (such as customs affairs systems, Single Window, bonded systems, etc.) to complete import/export data entry, declaration, and review - Responsible for the preparation, preliminary review, and systematic archiving of import/export documents (invoices, packing lists, contracts, customs declarations, etc.) - Follow up on key stages such as customs declaration, inspection, release, and duty payment, promptly handling issues and reporting them • Import/Export Customs Affairs Processing - Responsible for daily communication and coordination with external parties such as customs brokers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities - Assist in completing customs inspections, valuation reviews, audits, preparation of AEO-related materials, and providing explanations - Ensure the compliance and timeliness of import/export operations in accordance with company policies and customs laws and regulations • Logistics and Customer Service Coordination - Act as the point of contact for import/export and logistics, coordinating with internal departments such as customer service, planning, warehouse, and sales - Provide updates on import/export progress, support with documentation information, and assist in issue resolution - Assist in handling customer inquiries and issues related to transportation, customs clearance, and delivery • Other Support Tasks - Responsible for organizing and maintaining import/export and logistics related records and reports - Continuously monitor changes in customs policies, assisting in process optimization and system improvement - Complete other related tasks assigned by superiors To succeed, you will need We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. Experience requirement At least 3 years of relevant experience in import/export logistics or customs Experience in processing trade, bonded business, or operations within free trade zones is preferred Familiar with import/export documentation processes and customs declaration requirements, with hands-on experience in system operations Experience working in AEO-certified companies or familiarity with SAP/customs affairs systems is preferred Educational requirement college degree or above Majors such as Logistics Management, International Trade, Customs Declaration and International Freight, Supply Chain Management, or related fields are preferred environment Professional Skills and Abilities Ability to independently handle import/export documentation operations and system declarations Strong communication and coordination skills, capable of liaising with multiple parties (customs, freight forwarders, internal and external customers) Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, with basic data organization and reporting capabilities Good English reading and writing skills In return, we offer Culture of trust and accountability Lifelong learning and career growth Innovation powered by people Comprehensive compensation and benefits Health and well-being Job location Option 1: On-Site This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Shanghai, .
