Educates hospital staff and visitors about the practice of perfusion. Performs as a clinical instructor for students rotating in the clinical arena (optional). Participates in non-clinical duties as agreed upon with the Chief Perfusionist. Has on call and weekend responsibilities as determined by chief perfusionist We offer a 4-day workweek schedule to promote work-life balance and flexibility. Candidates with 3 or more years of experience as a Perfusionist may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus ! Education: Successful graduation from an American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion accredited cardiovascular training program. Maintains clinical competency as assigned by the chief perfusionist. Licensure: Requires either current certification eligibility or current status of Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. If certification eligible, required to become certified within 24 months of receipt of certificate or degree from an accredited perfusion education program. Will have the appropriate state perfusion license as dictated by the Maryland Board of Physicians. Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
