This is where officers and soldiers in the Australian Army Intelligence Corps complete their initial employment training, and all-corps training is conducted throughout officer and soldier careers. It was established in 1942 for Army jungle warfare and infantry training. It was closed from 1948 – 1954, however reactivated during the Vietnam War. Services provided include primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements). What you’ll do Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members Occ Med environment Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care Additional information: Provide Occupational Medicine services Civilian role – no enlistment required Part-time, full-time and after-hours opportunities available Who we are Serco supports more than 12,000 professionals across Asia Pacific, delivering essential services in defence, health, justice, and beyond.
