Group Design Leader – Interior / Exterior / BIW Location: Gothenburg, Sweden At Bertrandt, we are shaping the future of mobility together with leading automotive customers. We are currently looking for experienced Group Design Leaders within Interior, Exterior, or Body-in-White development to join our growing engineering team in Gothenburg. Your Responsibilities - Drive design maturation from concept development to industrialization. - Coordinate cross-functional activities with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and suppliers. - Ensure compliance with customer requirements, technical standards, and project targets. - Support design reviews, risk assessments, and issue resolution activities. - Mentor and support design engineers within the project team. Your Profile - <B.Sc>. or <M.Sc>. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent. - Several years of experience in automotive product development. - Previous experience as Group Design Leader, Design Leader, Technical Leader, or similar role. - Strong understanding of automotive development processes. - Experience within one or more of the following areas: - Interior systems (trim, console, luggage compartment, headliner, carpet, cockpit) - Exterior systems (closures, bumpers, lighting, body components) - Body-in-White structures and vehicle architecture - Experience working with CATIA V5 and Teamcenter is highly valued. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent in English. Meritorious - Experience from major automotive OEMs. - Experience working in global and cross-functional development environments. - Knowledge of VPDS and automotive product lifecycle processes.
