We are currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join our Corporate Electrical Automation team to support our expansion in Ontario. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic growing team. Your role will be to participate in the day-to-day delivery of engineering services, from front-end studies to assisting with commissioning. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality professional services and maintaining good working relationships with clients and co-workers. With us you’ll get the opportunity to: Provide engineering services and consulting work, either in a team or individually with support Design and read 1-line, schematic, wiring and layouts drawings Design and draft high voltage substations Be part of teams designing renewable power facilities Effectively use AutoCAD to create and edit electrical drawings Prepare technical documents, calculation notes and specifications Apply established working methods and make sure they are improved upon Take part in project management activities (costs, deadlines) Take part in coordination meetings, both internally and with clients Carry out site surveys Take part in commissioning equipment at client sites, locally and abroad Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture?
