Job Role We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to build and maintain scalable backend systems that power our products. This role will focus on developing APIs and microservices while ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability across our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. Roles & Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and related technologies Build and support REST APIs and microservices to enable product functionality Work with PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and basic performance optimization Integrate backend services with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment and participate in ceremonies Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following established coding standards Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support build and deployment processes Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments Continuously improve code quality, performance, and system reliability Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls. Experience and Desired Skills: 3 to 4 years of experience in backend development Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot Hands-on experience with Node.js and building APIs or microservices Experience working with PostgreSQL, including writing efficient queries and understanding indexing Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies Experience with version control systems such as Git Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience with Groovy scripting Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker Key Skills: Java Spring Boot Node.js PostgreSQL REST APIs AWS / GCP CI/CD Git Docker Agile/Scrum Education Bachelor’s in computers or any related field.
