Certified Surgical Technician

As a Certified Surgical Technician at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll: An essential part of our Operating Room team, ensuring the smooth flow of each surgical procedure Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterile and set up properly Work closely with the surgeon and registered nurse to anticipate needs and support surgical procedures Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control standards Understand the surgical procedures being performed and assist with tasks as needed Help maintain and monitor the sterile field, ensuring the safety of every patient Assist in turnover and restocking of OR following procedures A Great Fit If You… Are confident, calm, and alert under pressure Has a deep understanding of sterile procedures and OR best practices Works well in a fast-paced environment and communicates clearly with your team Takes pride in precision, safety, and patient-focused care What You’ll Need Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in orthopedic surgery High school diploma or equivalent Certification required; hospital experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent work experience Knowledge of surgical procedures, tools, and sterile field management Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team Why OrthoAtlanta?
