Vacation Student Opportunities At Foxleigh Mine, we’re inviting students to register their interest for potential Vacation Student Opportunities across a range of disciplines, including: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Mining Engineering Geology Environmental Accounting Human Resources Why Register Your Interest? Our Vacation Program is designed to provide students with valuable hands-on industry experience during university breaks while gaining exposure to the day-to-day operations of an open-cut coal mine. About Foxleigh Mine: Foxleigh Mine is located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin coalfield, 12km south of Middlemount and 272km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine was established in 1999 as an open cut operation producing benchmark quality, LV PCI coal for the export market.
