Team Lead - Infra Operations

Role Purpose: This role will oversee daily operations, guides team performance, and act as final point of contact for escalations. The role requires advanced troubleshooting, design, and operational ownership of enterprise backup environments, along with basic (L1-level) HP Storage hardware knowledge to support hardware replacement activities. Key Responsibilities: • Leads by coordinating daily activities, tracking progress, acting as final escalation point for incidents, problems and services requests. • Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes for complex backup failures and performance issues. • Manage backup policies, schedules, retention, replication, and disaster recovery readiness. • Support backup operations across physical, virtual, and cloud workloads. • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for critical incidents and upgrades. • Participate in on-call rotations and handle P1/P2 incidents as required. • Ensure compliance with data protection policies and SLAs through collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Mentor and guide engineers through critical incidents and support capacity building within the team to enhance performance. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Timely delivery of milestones and commitments. • Stakeholder satisfaction and positive feedback. • Resource Utilization and capacity alignment • Demonstrated improvement in team efficiency and delivery processes.
