What you’ll do
- Process supplier invoices and ensure proper cost center and approval.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
- Assist with payroll documentation and employee expense claims.
- Prepare financial reports and schedules as requested by management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing the required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (Oracle, Softone) is considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good understanding of VAT and general accounting procedures.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
