Lecturer, Systems and Industrial Engineering

Teach one section of SIE 370 Embedded Computer Systems Prepare and deliver instructional materials and guide/lead class activities three times per week, plus a lab session once per week, every Fall and Spring semester at the University of Arizona Main Campus in Tucson, AZ Ensure successful delivery of the course's learning objectives through the creation and dissemination of students assessments (e.g., quizzes, homework, exams, projects, etc.) Establish and adhere to grading rubrics to ensure students understand grading expectations Provide timely feedback to students on their submitted assignments Maintain course materials in the University's chosen Learning Management System that is optimized for on-campus and remote students Work with instructional designer to optimize course materials using Quality Matters standards for online learning Support student learning in multiple modalities including in person, remote synchronous, and remote asynchronous Gather and report ABET learning outcomes to department advisor Assist in the professional development of students as they transition from academia into careers or graduate school
