About The Role

Creates and oversees the budgets for the individual shows within the TFTV Performance Season Manages all paperwork for guest directors, designers, etc. and communicates with the College business office Manages the master calendar and schedules for the TFTV Performance season (rehearsals, performances, tech schedules—load-in, strike, etc.) Supervises technical teams (scenic, costumes, lighting, props, sound) to make sure all departments are staying on schedule and within their respective budgets Attends and supervises all technical rehearsals to troubleshoot any issues Organizes and runs production meetings for individual performances Acts as a central hub between designers, directors and crews Works with various rental houses to obtain the rights to productions and secures contracts, royalty payments, etc. Manages rentals from both the university, as well as non-university customers in the Marroney Theatre and Tornabene Theatre Negotiates contracts and provides all paperwork for rentals Coordinating film screenings and provides tech support for film events Knowledge, Skills Abilities Strong professional written communication skills. Well organized with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with different groups and individuals. Ability to manage competing priorities and juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to occasionally work out of hours.
