Research Technician II- Department of Surgery

Coordinate, collect, and manage research data collection and experiments as well as preparatory work related to that according to established protocols. This work would include: Maintain cell lines Process primary human samples Co culture systems In vitro differentiation assays Flow cytometry staining and running of samples Real time PCR Western blotting and other protein based assays Killing assays Laboratory setup and maintenance: Ordering supplies Keeping appropriate inventory of stock reagents, cell lines, tissue, etc. Ordering reagents for upcoming experiments Maintaining lab readiness and cleanliness Assisting with lab equipment maintenance and communication as needed with company for any needed repairs. Assist with data collection and analysis including: Maintaining orderly laboratory data with ongoing experiments. Primary data analysis and presentation for review with PI on regular basis. Future experiment planning and preparation.
