Outreach Instructional Assistant III (Part-Time) (Temporary) (COE) (Updated)

Coordinate sustainable programming for summer and service oriented curriculum. Coordinate the daily operations of the Upward Bound TRIO summer program. Create sustainable reporting for annual progress reports. Research and assess educational needs and interests for targeted public segments involved in the Upward Bound program. Communicate with students and families about program updates. Support with student safety during programming. Coordinate and facilitate workshops. Coordinate small-scale events with community partners. Promotes and fosters lifelong learning and outreach activities for individuals, families, organizations, and communities. Support programming and instructional staff and support students through their summer projects. Support students and families in their transition to post-secondary education as part of the program’s scope of work. Additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and organization skills, technology skills, and innovation. Ability to work with the target population and support them in overcoming challenges. Understanding of and ability to embody an asset-based approach to support the target population and community.
