YOUR IMPACT
The PWM Sustainable Solutions Group (SSG) is a team dedicated to providing our clients a holistic, differentiated platform to develop and pursue their sustainability goals. The team works closely with Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) and firmwide resources to drive environmental, social and governance (ESG) and impact innovation, product offerings and related content tailored for wealth management clients. With the support of senior leaders and content specialists across the division and the Firm, the SSG aims to expand and commercialise our sustainability efforts in the ultra-high net worth and mid-market foundation and endowment space.
This is a client facing role. You will be required to keep abreast of financial markets, GS research and market views to discuss directly with clients.
Work closely with the global SSG team to develop and implement strategies around client acquisition, growth and engagement of clients investing in ESG and impact strategies.
Help PWM sales teams (EMEA-focused) maintain and enhance existing client relationships and advise on ESG and impact solutions to prospective clients.
Engage with the Asset Management Division (product teams, External Investing Group, Sustainability Client Solutions, etc.) through the appropriate working groups to communicate the needs of PWM clients and support platform development.
Stay abreast of the latest industry and GS innovations in sustainable finance and help bring those solutions to PWM clients.
Collate content from across the firm to ensure PWM clients are kept abreast of ESG thought leadership, research and events from the whole GS network.
Author proprietary content for internal and external purposes to increase awareness and engagement of ESG and impact investing.
Work with internal stakeholders on tech enhancements related to ESG portfolio diagnostics and data collection and reporting across the wealth management businesses.
Develop a good understanding of the Private Wealth Management business in order to deliver a holistic client service
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant work experience in financial services, investment management and business development, preferably in wealth management with some client facing experience;
Strong understanding of portfolio construction and portfolio management;
Passionate about sustainable finance and / or environmental or social sustainability;
Knowledge of the ESG and impact investing landscape and with guiding client conversations in this area;
Dedicated client services focus, commercial instinct and intellectual curiosity;
Exemplary organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to deal effectively at all levels within the organization;
Experience synthesising and presenting complex information and working across various stakeholders or teams; and
CISI IAD Level 4 qualification (must be obtained within three months of employment).
