About The Role
Role Purpose 职位目标 This role will leverage strong clinical and scientific expertise to support medical affairs activities, across one or more emerging areas, including evidence generation, external scientific engagement, and providing medical insights to internal stakeholders. The role focuses on contributing to CN medicine strategy, development‑stage and early‑lifecycle assigned therapeutic area assets, developing and executing tactical plans, supporting external engagement, and interpreting data to inform medical strategy and decision‑making. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities主要工作职责 Medical Affairs Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the CN Medical Affairs Plans or pre‑launch plans for assigned emerging respiratory assets. Lead planning and execution of medical tactics, including medical material development, communication plans, and application of customer insights. Evidence Generation: Provide CN input into the design of clinical development programs (including Phase II-IV studies and investigator‑sponsored research as appropriate) to address CN‑relevant evidence gaps and lifecycle needs. Recommend scientifically appropriate clinical, real‑world, and health outcomes measures to support CN regulatory, payer, provider, and patient decision‑making. External Engagement: Collaborate with field medical teams to lead/contribute to scientific engagement between GSK and external communities to advance understanding of disease management, evolving treatment paradigms, and patient care. CN Environment Integration: Integrate CN environment needs and medical voice of customer (patients, providers, payers) into medical affairs strategy, by gathering and synthesizing medical insights from internal and external stakeholders (HCPs, patients, payers, regulators) to inform CN medical strategy and integrated evidence planning. Ensure CN-specific needs for medical and health outcomes evidence generation are represented in global medical work. Medical Governance: Apply sound medical governance to all activities, ensuring scientific integrity and compliance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to deliver medical activities supporting lifecycle management and optimal patient care. Partner closely with Global Medical Affairs, R&D, and CN cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution. Competitive Knowledge: Maintain strong scientific and clinical expertise across relevant disease areas, building credibility through depth of content knowledge. Understand, interpret, and apply external environment and competitive knowledge to define the scientific narratives of the emerging assets. Support Leadership: Support the CN Medical Affairs Leaders and CN Executive Medical Director, as needed. Contribute to ensuring the CN RESP Medical organization has appropriate expertise and readiness to support emerging assets and new medicines coming to market. Qualifications/Requirements (Education / Experience / Competencies) Basic Qualifications: Level of Education: Master’s Degree, PharmD, PhD, Allied Health Professional or other scientific degree Job-Related Experience: At least 5 years’ industry experience Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in RESP or IMMU, with experience across RESP therapeutic areas and/or development‑stage assets. Deep clinical and scientific understanding, including clinical study design for evidence generation and data evaluation Awareness of the CN healthcare environment and external customer needs Other Skills/Background: Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to deliver on key responsibilities and adapt to change. Flexible thinking to analyze external environments and translate insights into strategy. Customer-driven approach to understanding external needs. Ability to build relationships and work effectively with others. Capability to act as a teacher, coach, and mentor to team members.
