Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Dentist to support the Orlando VA Healthcare System primarily working at the Orlanda VA Medical Center located at 13800 Veterans Way Orlando, FL 32827. In addition to the primary duty location, this role includes providing services at surrounding Community‑Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) to support coverage needs. Responsibilities Consultations and comprehensive dental examinations Diagnosis of oral and maxillofacial conditions Preventive and therapeutic dental treatment Treatment of caries and defective restorations Management of traumatic dental injuries Occlusal therapy Emergency dental treatment Oral pathology and oral medicine services Non-surgical management of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) Fixed and removable prosthetic replacement of missing teeth Restoration of single implants Implant-retained dentures Non-surgical endodontic therapy Simple and surgical extractions Socket preservation Alveoplasty Minor pre-prosthetic surgery Repair of minor intraoral lacerations/wounds Soft tissue biopsy (<1 cm) Gingivectomy/Gingivoplasty Localized delivery of chemotherapeutic agents Minimal sedation/anxiolysis (oral single agent) Complete occlusal adjustment Post-mortem dental examinations for identification purposes Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Current, active, and unrestricted dental license in any U.S. state or territory Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must meet VA credentialing and privileging requirements Ability to work on‑site and travel to outpatient clinics as needed No services may be provided prior to full VA credentialing and approval by the Professional Standards Board, Medical Executive Board, and Medical Center Director All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
