Many home care cases require caregivers to travel directly to a client's home, and having reliable transportation can give you greater flexibility when considering available assignments throughout Nassau County. Your care helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent while maintaining their daily routines. Responsibilities may include: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Helping with activities of daily living Providing companionship and emotional support Preparing light meals Light housekeeping and laundry Providing medication reminders Assisting with mobility Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition What We're Looking For CURRENT NEW YORK STATE HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA) CERTIFICATE REQUIRED Qualified applicants should also have: At least one year of caregiving experience Current physical examination Current PPD or QuantiFERON documentation, or applicable chest X-ray documentation MMR documentation Authorization to work in the United States Dependable and professional communication Compassionate and reliable approach to client care Have a Car?
