Operation- Facility Warehouse 1

• Care and maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment.
• Basic maintenance instead of in depth-harder general maintenance of equipment
• Follow designated loss prevention, security and safety practices according to policy and correct or report non-compliance of appropriate procedures/policies.
• Take immediate action to contain spillage using hazardous material containment procedures as outlined in the Work Safe Manual, including proper and timely reporting.
• Housekeeping in warehouse and surrounding area and maintaining 6s Standards
• Perform other routine clerical activities as required according to the organization’s established procedures. These activities may include answering telephones; updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms and any other reasonable tasks requested by line manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education

• Secondary school level education (Required)
• Relevant tertiary qualification or studying towards relevant tertiary qualification (Preferred)

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse / shipping role. (Required)
• Safe handling with chemical goods/products (Preferred)

Technical/skill Requirements

Forklift Truck License (Required)

Basic usage of Microsoft office package (Required)

Valid Driver’s License (Preferred)

Travel Requirements (time spent away from home or other typical office location): N/A
