About The Role
Duties
(a) To assist in formulating brand marketing plans through analysing consumer insights;
(b) To assist in shaping and communicating HKTE’s vision and mission, translate brand elements into marketing plans and creative campaigns;
(c) To establish performing specifications, effectively monitor and control the quality of related deliverables to ensure that they are well implemented according to agreed brand strategy and guidelines;
(d) To supervise and maintain effective communication process with appointed suppliers to ensure the delivery of high quality, creative, and effective marketing and brand building campaigns;
(e) To work closely with other functional teams to develop ideas for HKTE’s promotional events or activities and organise them efficiently; and
(f) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
Entry Requirements
Candidates should have –
(a) a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent;
(b) a minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experiences in advertising agency and/or consumer marketing and marketing communications field as well as up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices;
(c) met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 or above in English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent;
(Note: Grade C in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.)
(d) proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to top management;
(e) hands-on-experience in advertising and event production as well as collaboration with different agencies, production houses and suppliers;
(f) aggressive and creative business motivation with a strong strategic mind;
(g) excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and
(h) proficiency in the application of common business software (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Chinese and English word processing.
Pay
HK$47,950 per month
Terms of Appointment
The successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms. The contract period will commence on the first date of reporting duty and last up to 31 March 2028. Renewal of contract will be subject to the discretion of the Government.
