Re a ds sh o p ord e rs, blue p rints, and p r o c e d ur e s for specif i c atio n s . Re-wor k s reje c ted lo t s from Q.A. Inspe c tor s . Ass i sts g ro u p peers in ord e r to comp l ete assig n ed tasks. May perform non-r o utine o perati o ns a ccordi n g to s p e c ificati o ns o n sh o p or d ers i n a se p arate area either sitting, stand i ng or walki n g dur i ng the worki n g p eriod. Verifies that compo n ents a nd/or p ro d uc t s in the w o rk station are pres e nt and r e q uired p rot e c t i ve equip m ent s u ch a s glov e s , respirator, a n d eye prot e c tors a re u s e d. Plac e s c o m p onen t s and/ o r prod u cts p r o c e ss ed in bi n s acc o rdi n g to sp e c ificati o ns. Measures, c u ts, and c o un t s as requ i r e d com p on e nts and/or p r o d u c ts u s ing cutters, e t c. Fills infor m ation on d o cu m entation such as Shop O r d ers, e t c. as r e quir e d. May perform other t a sks a s different m o de l s of some pro d uc t s mo v es to be a s s e mbled. May be assi g ned to differ e nt work stati o ns a s pr o d u c tion ne e ds re q uire. Ass e mbl e rs a re r e quired to work on p riority o r ders w h en rel e ased b efore oth e rs in ord e r to m e et pro d ucti o n schedu l es. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Education and Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

  • High School gra d uate o r e quivalent
  • 3-6 m o nths of experie n c e i n medical d e v i ce manuf ac turing env i ro n ment is preferred.
  • Some re q uir e ments could be s u bj e c t to possib l e modification to re a s o n ably acc o mmodate i n d i viduals with disabilities.
  • Rapidity to achieve productivity levels
  • Ability to read and un d erst a nd English
  • Manual a bilities to w o rk wi t h small p a rts and h a nd too l s
  • Ability to perform variety of opera t i o ns o n different assembly lin e s

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

  • Computers, specialized software for complaint reporting, general office equipment including, printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines
  • Tweezers, rulers, safety knives, punch presses, Multivac, electronic scales etc.

Salary Pay Range

$1.00 - $120.00 USD Hourly

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training . In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation . Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
