ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Cook, you’ll prepare meals, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with regulations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks that fuel children’s growth and day.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for every child.
- Manage inventory and supplies to keep everything stocked and ready.
- Support children’s needs by accommodating allergies and dietary requirements.
Each day, you play a role in fueling children’s growth and supporting their well-being.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Prior experience in food service, childcare, or institutional meal preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices required, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.
- Ability to meet all state and local health department requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
