Starting Pay $21.30/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium

Shift Hours

• Sunday: 12 AM - 6 AM & 6 PM - Monday: 6 AM
• Monday: 6 PM - Tuesday: 6 AM
• Tuesday: 6 PM - Wednesday: 6 AM

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must be able to use basic hand tools, able to read & understand assignments, able to communicate orally & in writing, able to hear/respond to two-way radio, able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, able to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather & odors, basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment. May monitor boiler and perform chemical test on boiler. May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems. Must be certified to operate various pieces of gas/hydraulic motors/lifts. Performs duties such as welding, cutting, minor electrical repair, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water & steam pipes, lines, & systems. Prefer individual be respirator qualified. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Willing to further education by outside training, company testing program & vendor training. Requirements

Must have at least 6 months of mechanical/maintenance experience within the last 24 months, preferably industrial maintenance, listed on the application.

Must have 6 months of continuous employment with one employer within the last 24 months.

Rehire Criteria

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
