Research & Development Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct research into new technologies, materials, equipment, engineering methods and industry practices relevant to business requirements.
  • Develop test plans, conduct trials and analyse results to validate the performance, safety, reliability and feasibility of new products, systems, processes or engineering solutions.
  • Liaise with parties such as Department Managers, Project managers and site engineers to certify the progress to be on track.
  • Ensure all activities of the department are carried out with due consideration to safety by regular monitoring of work practices, Personal protection Equipment (PPE) in order to comply with the Company’s EHS policy.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree or NDT, HND, NCT or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience at a construction company.
  • Local O/L 8 passes with ‘C’ passes for Mathematics and English and 3 passes for A/L’s.
  • Computer literacy and Ms Office package.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Confident communication with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
