Executive – Graphic Designer
Hayleys Retail | Colombo | Full-time, On-site

The Role

You'll create the marketing and in-store visuals that customers see every day — from price boards and promotional flyers to social media and campaign artwork. You'll work closely with Marketing, Merchandising and Store Operations to turn briefs into clear, on-brand, commercially sharp designs.

What you'll do

Design in-store POSM — posters, wobblers, danglers, leaflets, catalogues, banners and signage
Develop digital assets for social media, website, app, emailers and online promotions
Support campaigns, seasonal promotions and new product launches with strong visual concepts
Keep every design aligned to brand guidelines and campaign objectives
Handle trilingual layouts (Sinhala / Tamil / English) accurately and cleanly
Ensure artwork accuracy — pricing layouts, promotional messages and legal disclaimers, grammar and detail
Coordinate with external printers and vendors for accurate, on-time production
Manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced retail environment

What we're looking for

Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field
1–3 years in graphic design; retail, FMCG or agency experience is an advantage
A strong portfolio showing creative and commercial work (required)
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Understanding of print production and digital formats
Strong eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work to tight deadlines
Basic motion graphics / video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus
