What makes you remarkable?

Reporting to the Lead Electrical & Telecommunication Engineer , your immediate focus will be supporting telecommunications engineering activities on a major EPCM refinery project, ensuring technical excellence, quality compliance, and successful delivery of telecommunication systems throughout the project lifecycle.

In addition, you will

• Design and develop key telecommunications engineering deliverables including standards and specifications, system block diagrams, layout drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
• Prepare telecommunications system designs for systems including PA/GA, Telephone Systems, Talk-Back Systems, WAN/LAN Networks, CCTV Systems, Radio Communications Systems, Access Control Systems, VoIP Systems, and associated infrastructure
• Review and approve telecommunications drawings and documents while ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements
• Resolve technical issues relating to telecommunications systems throughout the engineering and project execution lifecycle
• Prepare material requisitions, technical specifications, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews for telecommunications equipment and systems
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, licensors, and project stakeholders to ensure telecommunications solutions are delivered in accordance with project requirements
• Attend and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and associated verification activities for telecommunications systems
• Assist designers and multidisciplinary engineering teams with the preparation and integration of telecommunications engineering drawings
• Review, provide input to, and monitor engineering schedules and project execution plans
• Support project cost estimating activities by providing engineering manhour estimates and technical inputs
• Conduct site surveys, field verification activities, and technical assessments as required
• Prepare installation specifications, testing procedures, and commissioning documentation for telecommunications systems
• Provide construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and technical support throughout project execution
• Ensure compliance with applicable client requirements, project procedures, company standards, and international industry codes and standards

Expected

This opportunity is available to Thai Nationals only. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Thailand.

Suitably qualified with a bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering or a related discipline , you will ideally have experience in a Telecommunication Engineer role on major EPCM, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical , supported by a minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience .

In addition, you will

• Have a proven track record in telecommunications engineering within refinery, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, power generation, or similar industrial projects
• Possess strong knowledge of international engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices applicable to telecommunications systems
• Have extensive experience in telecommunications system design including PA/GA Systems, Telephone Systems, Talk-Back Systems, WAN/LAN Networks, CCTV Systems, Radio Systems (UHF, VHF, DTRS, Towers and Antennas), VoIP, and Access Control Systems
• Have experience preparing engineering calculations including network, radio traffic, and communication system calculations
• Possess experience preparing specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews
• Have experience supporting FATs, SATs, construction activities, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications systems
• Demonstrate the ability to identify technical issues, evaluate alternatives, and provide practical engineering solutions
• Have experience using Microsoft Access Database and Microsoft Office applications to prepare engineering reports, schedules, and project documentation
• Be highly motivated, organized, resourceful, and proactive in delivering engineering solutions
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Be capable of working effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude
