About The Role

This course aims to develop the aptitudes, intuitions, and understandings of the strategies essential to successful negotiations, set in a cross-cultural context. A thorough analysis of the nature of negotiation, distributive and integrative bargaining, ethical issues, planning and preparation, intercultural differences, bargaining style and individual differences are considered. The role of power, strategy and tactics is considered, including communication, persuasion, conflict resolution and complex negotiation.

  • Enseignement / Teaching: $239.47 (2024-2025) The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
  • These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
  • These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements

Must have an MBA or Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant discipline. Must have significant applied experience and excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to successfully lead classes taken by top executives. PC-based teaching experience is an asset.
