About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As a Senior Solution Architect – Integration, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the integration solutions that allow ACC’s systems, data and services to work together effectively. You will work across delivery teams, platforms and business stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose architecture that is secure, resilient, reusable and aligned to ACC’s strategic direction. This role has a strong focus on Oracle integration, including Oracle Integration Cloud and integrations across Oracle SaaS capabilities such as HCM, ERP, EPM and SCM. You will also work with ACC’s broader integration landscape, including API-led design, event-driven patterns, secure file transfer, cloud-native services, microservices and enterprise integration governance. You will provide practical architecture leadership, helping teams make sound design decisions, apply ACC’s integration standards and select the right integration patterns and technologies for the outcome required, while contributing to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
The appointing salary for this role is $138,301 - $178,978 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

You will bring
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering enterprise integration solutions in complex environments.
- Strong experience with integration architecture, including API-led design, event-driven integration, orchestration, secure file transfer and cloud integration patterns.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SaaS integration, or comparable enterprise integration platforms.
- Understanding of Oracle HCM, ERP, EPM or SCM integration contexts would be highly valuable.
- Experience with technologies used across ACC’s integration landscape, such as MuleSoft, Azure API Management, Apigee, Azure integration services, AWS integration services, Java and Node-based microservices, OpenShift/ARO, Axway SFT or enterprise scheduling tools.
- Good knowledge of standards and protocols such as REST, JSON, OpenAPI, FHIR and secure integration patterns.
- Ability to work across legacy, SaaS, cloud and hybrid environments and select the right pattern for the business need.
- Experience applying architecture governance, standards, guardrails and reusable patterns in a mature architecture practice.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business, delivery, security, operations and platform teams.
- Ability to turn complex architecture into clear, practical designs and decisions that delivery teams can act on.
- Strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- A pragmatic mindset, with a focus on quality, reuse, supportability and delivery outcomes.
- You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
