You are responsible for providing administrative support to the Housekeeping Department, handling various clerical tasks, maintaining records, and assisting in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. As a Housekeeping Supervisor , you’re not just supporting efficient housekeeping operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day
- Inspect and monitor the cleanliness and overall condition of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
- Supervise, train, and provide daily work instructions to housekeeping staff.
- Manage staff scheduling and attendance records.
- Control inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, and coordinate ordering as required.
- Monitor room status updates and coordinate closely with the Front Office team.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle guest complaints and contribute to enhancing service quality.
- Maintain guest room conditions in accordance with brand standards.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team training experience.
- Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Experience managing staff schedules and developing team members.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
