About The Role

An exciting new opportunity for an Executive Manager- Tax Compliance and Reporting has become available within the National Finance and Administration department of ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury.  This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

What does the role look like?

  • Oversee the execution of ALDI’s tax reporting, filing and compliance obligations across income tax, GST/BAS, FBT and tax accounting.
  • Coordinate the preparation and provision of data for internal reviews, external advisors, audits and revenue authority matters.
  • Implement tax technology, automation, data improvement and process optimisation initiatives within compliance and reporting activities, in line with agreed tax governance and technology priorities.
  • Build effective working relationships across the Tax Team, Finance and other stakeholders to support timely collaboration, issue resolution, compliance delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Remain up to date with all relevant legislation and maintain ALDI’s tax governance framework to minimise risk and ensure compliance.

  • CA/CPA qualification is essential, with a Master’s Degree in Tax, highly regarded.
  • Strong demonstrated leadership experience with income tax and GST/BAS is required (either within a Professional Services Firm and/or a large Corporate environment).
  • Experience with the implementation, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of tax compliance technologies.

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $163, 700 - $215, 100 including Superannuation.
