Senior Tax Analyst

About The Role
For this position, it is required to be on site 3 times per week.
What you will do (Responsibilities)
Prepare and review complex tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other indirect taxes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate risks.
Develop and maintain financial models related to tax forecasting and tax impact analysis.
Collaborate with internal partners such as Accounting, Finance, and Legal to gather necessary data and ensure accurate tax reporting.
Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities by providing documentation and technical explanations.
Monitor changes in Argentine tax regulations, assess their business impact, and recommend proactive actions.
Contribute to the development and implementation of internal tax strategies and policies.
Utilize AFIP systems and SAP to ensure compliant and efficient tax processes.
Your skills and abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Public Accountant).
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in tax analysis within corporate environments or public accounting firms.
Strong understanding of Business Finance and its application to tax planning.
Proficiency in Financial Modeling.
Demonstrated experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting and SAP.
Solid technical knowledge of Argentine tax regulations (corporate income tax, VAT, and other indirect taxes).
Experience using AFIP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Advanced English level.
What can give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in large multinational corporations.
Knowledge or hands-on experience with Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Proven track record supporting tax strategy implementation or process improvements.
Familiarity with regional tax regulations in South America.
