• Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
• Assists with echocardiograms on pediatric patients and adults with congenital heart disease utilizing department specific protocols
• Completes documentation associated with responsibilities in electronic medical record.
• Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services. May perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Certificates, licenses

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be enrolled in an accredited echo sonography program, pursuant to Texas licensure
• Completion of the first year/fundamentals of echo sonography, or equivalent, is required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association prior to higher
