- Always maintains utmost level of confidentiality.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
- Provides day-to-day operational oversight to the assigned clinics.
- Organizes, coordinates, delegates licensed and unlicensed stall in the delivery of patient care in compliance with hospital policies, protocols and procedures.
- Addresses staffing needs to ensure smooth clinic throughput.
- Provides direct patient care as needed, within the scope of licensure.
- Monitors the schedule and intercedes proactively when there are issues.
- Monitors safety, infection control and quality to ensure that standards are met.
- Supports referring physician needs to promote ease of access for those patients requiring specialized care.
- Supports departmental physicians to ensure that supplies, equipment and staffing are readily available, as appropriate.
- Provides secondary support to the Clinic Director for assigned clinics.
- Monitors time and attendance.
- Prepares payroll timesheets for QC physicians.
- Enters, as needed, any additional payroll codes, differentials to ensure an accurate payroll.
- Enters payroll adjustments in a timely manner.
- Tracks attendance of staff and counsels, as appropriate, for absenteeism.
- Provides leadership to the assigned clinics.
- Maintains patient satisfaction communication boards for the staff.
- Leads and/or participates in staff educational programs and monthly meetings.
- Mentors' frontline leaders in staff management skills including coaching, fairness and communications.
- Assists with monthly financial variances research, as requested.
- Assists with preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Directs and monitors the quality program to ensure that audits and other related activities are conducted as Scheduled / as intended.

- Strong knowledge of and effective in administering hospital policies and procedures.
- Responsible for sound management of human resources.
- Makes and implements decisions compatible with organizational goals.
- Maintains composure, effectiveness, and flexibility under pressure.
- Is responsible for all appropriate documentation and reporting requirements, such as QA reports, performance evaluations, time sheets, budget variance reports and position requisitions.
- Works with Human Resources and Director to recruit and hire staff and coordinates their orientation.
- Establishes performance goals and provides counseling, coaching, feedback, recognition, training and development of staff.
- Manages with the Clinic Director quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborates with physicians and Clinic Director to coordinate day-to-day patient care to ensure balanced provider panels within the health care team and facilitate appointment access for patients.
- Supervises the following job classes:
- RN, LVN, MA, MOS, Clinic Coordinator.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BSN, BS, BA) from four-year college or university – Preferred
- Pediatric experience – a plus
- Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience - Preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations.
- Current, active, and unrestricted licensure in the State of Texas if licensed. Must maintain throughout duration of employment if licensed.
- BLS from American Heart Association upon hire National Certification in specialty - preferred
