Who You Are

The ability to build and maintain relationships is critical to success. Organization, time management, and execution ability are requirements for this position. The candidate selected for this position will be primed for growth and success as they work hand in hand with their sales manager.

Location: Must be located in or near Syracuse, NY, to come into the office a couple of times a week.

Travel requirement: Within the first 6 months of employment, all employees will travel to attend the BHG All Oars Experience. Following this event, ongoing travel is minimal—approximately 5-10% annually—for team on-sites, meetings, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Provide day to day assistance with administrative requests.
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Take memos, maintain files, and organize, and collate documents as needed
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and data, as well as maintain files, records, and correspondence for meetings
  • Organize and maintain the teams filing system
  • Arrange travel, accommodations, itineraries, and all correspondence related to arrangements as needed
  • Plan, organize and implement events, such as meetings, business luncheons, or client dinners
  • Manage executive schedule and act as a liaison between other departments,
  • Managing executives’ calendars and set up meetings
  • Provide day to day monitoring of reports
  • Serve as the point person to provide customer service to our bank clients as it relates to loan sale documentation
  • Perform client on-boarding calls
  • Transcribe call recordings
  • Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responsibilities will also include online/over the phone prospecting lead generations through outbound call campaigns,

What You'll Need

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a sales support role, ideally
  • Must be located in or near Syracuse, NY to come into the office a couple times a week.
  • Communication skills: Deciding which messages and which questions need to go directly to your executive and which need to redirected or handled in some other way. This involves the ability to quickly glean information from those demanding time from their executive.
  • Time management: Skilled in managing your executives time as well as managing your own time.
  • Trustworthiness: In this position you will often have access to sensitive information, need to be fully trusted
  • Multitasking: You will be regularly handling more than one task at a time while keeping tabs on executives schedules and keeping them on track.
