About The Role
MAJOR FUNCTION
Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Inspira's Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program. Provides field-based clinical leadership as a Paramedic/MICN, ensuring quality interventions and continuity of care. Serves as liaison between EMS, MAT providers, and community stakeholders to support program growth and patient outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in EMS, Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with addiction medicine, buprenorphine induction, and/or MIH programs are highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paramedic (MICP) or MICN in a high-volume EMS system.
- Demonstrated experience in addiction medicine support and/or community paramedicine initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage program operations, track outcomes, and collaborate with healthcare partners.
- Experience delivering field-based care, patient navigation, and follow-up services.
- Prior involvement in staff training, education, and protocol implementation preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead program initiatives.
Certification/ Licensure
- Current New Jersey Paramedic (MICP) or MICN certification required – or must be eligible
to obtain credential within 30 days of hire
- Must maintain qualifications as outlined in N.J.A.C. 8:41.
- Valid driver’s license in NJ in accordance with Inspira Health’s Fleet Safety ADM.291*IHN*.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate post-overdose follow-up visits, patient navigation, and care continuity with MAT providers.
- Support Inspira's Buprenorphine program, including field inductions and related training efforts.
- Schedule and conduct patient appointments, outreach visits, and community engagement efforts.
- Oversee MIH operations, including call volume tracking, reporting, and quality assurance reviews.
- Collaborate with the ALS Clinical Manager to expand MIH initiatives.
- Provide training and education for staff on MIH protocols, addiction medicine interventions, and program updates.
- Maintain program documentation, EPCR entries, and ensure compliance with state and organizational standards.
- Support grant reporting, data collection, and sustainability planning efforts.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with hospitals, behavioral health agencies, and community organizations.
- Serve as a clinical and operational resource for field crews and dispatch MIH related calls.
