About The Role

CROWN Bevcan Slovakia s.r.o. is seeking a skilled Cans Back End Necker Mechanic to maintain and optimize the performance of necking machinery in our can manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibilities:**

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on can necking machines and associated back-end equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues affecting necker performance.
Execute machine changeovers and adjustments to meet production specifications and quality standards.
Monitor machine operation for efficiency, product quality, and safety.
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and machine performance.
Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
Train and mentor junior mechanics as required.
Order and manage spare parts inventory for necking equipment.

Job Qualifications:**

Proven experience as a mechanic in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably within the can making industry.
Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills for complex machinery.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Knowledge of pneumatic and basic electrical systems.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as production demands require.
Vocational degree or certification in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field is highly preferred.
Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and diagnostic tools.
