Automation Engineer - Data Governance

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to improve operational workflows
• Create, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Develop and integrate solutions using REST APIs to enable seamless automation and system integration
• Implement and maintain data governance practices, including access control mechanisms and data cataloging processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot automated jobs and pipelines to ensure reliability and performance
• Document automation processes, procedures, and best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)
• Working Understanding of configuration management tools (Terraform)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in automation, DevOps, or software development roles
