About The Role

AI‑First Business & Product Thinking
Strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, GenAI assistants, analytics tools) to learn faster, analyze problems, create user stories, and improve communication.
Ability to understand business problems and translate them into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with guidance.
Foundational understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance concepts or strong willingness to learn domain quickly.
Agile, Delivery & Cross‑Functional Exposure
Basic understanding of Agile delivery concepts (Scrum / Kanban) through coursework, internships, or projects.
Exposure to tools like JIRA (or similar) for tracking work items and learning backlog concepts.
Awareness of system integrations, APIs, and data exchanges (XML / JSON) at a conceptual level.
Willingness to work across BA, Product, QA, and Engineering teams , learn beyond a single role, and step in where needed to support delivery.
Data, Analysis & Reporting (Foundational)
Basic knowledge of SQL concepts and ability to write simple queries or analyze datasets with guidance.
Ability to work with data to validate assumptions and support decision‑making.
Exposure to Power BI or other reporting/visualization tools (good to have).
Curiosity to use AI to speed up analysis, learning, and insight generation.

Foundational understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies through education, training, or internships.
Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with evolving requirements and feedback.
Interest in Insurance (P&C) or technology‑driven business domains preferred.

Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Clear communication skills and ability to ask the right questions.
Ability to collaborate across functions (business, QA, engineering) and learn from senior team members.
Good time management and organization skills.
Strong ownership mindset , curiosity, and willingness to learn continuously.
Open to experimentation, feedback, and AI‑enabled ways of working .

Solution Discovery & Design
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and architects to shape solution approaches for business problems .
Translate business needs into clear product capabilities, workflows, and technical requirements .
Participate in solution design discussions to ensure business requirements are technically feasible and scalable.
Contribute to system design and business architecture discussions .
Builder Collaboration
Work closely with business stakeholders, builders and engineering teams to break down features into implementable user stories and tasks .
Facilitate requirement discovery sessions, backlog grooming, and sprint planning .
Clarify business rules, edge cases, and integration scenarios during development cycles.
Product Development Support
Support development and QA teams by validating requirements, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios .
Ensure product capabilities align with customer experience and business objectives .
Assist in the development of new client interfaces and integrations , while supporting maintenance and enhancements of existing systems.
Requirements & Documentation
Capture and maintain requirements in structured artifacts such as user stories, workflows, and functional specifications .
Ensure product documentation is organized, traceable, and accessible across teams .
Maintain backlog hygiene and requirement traceability .

Identify opportunities to improve product functionality, operational efficiency, and customer experience .
Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives .
