Nutanix HCI Consultant- Duabai, UAE

We are looking for a seasoned HCI Nutanix Consultant to be based in Riyadh, KSA with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions using Nutanix technology. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-level IT operations and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• HCI Design and Implementation:

• o Architect, deploy, and manage Nutanix HCI solutions in line with business requirements.
• o Customize configurations to enhance performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• o Integrate Nutanix with existing IT infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, and networking.

• Infrastructure Management:

• o Oversee the health and performance of Nutanix clusters and ensure high availability.
• o Implement backup, disaster recovery, and replication solutions using Nutanix tools like Prism and AHV.
• o Conduct regular upgrades, patches, and firmware updates for Nutanix environments.

• Performance Optimization:

• o Monitor resource utilization and optimize workloads for maximum efficiency.
• o Troubleshoot issues related to Nutanix clusters, storage, or virtualization layers.
• o Leverage Nutanix analytics and reporting tools for capacity planning and forecasting.

• Technical Expertise and Support:

• o Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Nutanix technologies within the organization.
• o Provide Tier 3 support for Nutanix-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
• o Create detailed technical documentation, including operational procedures and best practices.

• Collaboration and Training:

• o Work with IT teams, architects, and business stakeholders to align Nutanix strategies with organizational goals.
• o Conduct training sessions for IT staff on Nutanix best practices and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on Nutanix solutions.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully designing and implementing Nutanix HCI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI solutions, including Prism, AHV, and Nutanix Acropolis.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
• Knowledge of storage solutions, networking concepts, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Certifications such as Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or Nutanix Certified Expert (NCX) are highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with HCI’s delivery and support model for Nutanix implementations.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices as applied to infrastructure automation.
