We are searching for a radiation therapist with leadership experience or interest in leadership to help lead this amazing team. Our team covers radiation departments in both Sheboygan and Manitowoc.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (no weekends)
Hours: Clinic is open 8am – 5pm
(Therapists rotate starting early to warm up machine)
Holidays: No holidays because the clinic is closed
Time split between Sheboygan and Manitowoc locations
Position includes some time treating patients and supervision responsibilities.
Pay Range
$47.50 - $71.25
Major Responsibilities
Works closely with the Radiation Oncologists to coordinate high quality patient care. Trains employees to meet standards of performance within the department.
Maintains staff schedules, evaluates staffing levels and makes adjustments as necessary to maintain established productivity levels and ensure completion of procedures and/or treatments.
Coordinates all treatment, treatment planning and room block activities.
Clinically treats patients when needed and participates in department call rotations. Assists in patient education and counseling.
Works collaboratively with the manager to organize, plan and implement system changes, departmental improvements and annual goals.
Administers, implements, and improves policies, procedures, and processes.
Develops and implements Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs. Maintains a preventative maintenance program and understands mechanical functions of equipment. Prepares work orders in order to assure safe, functional equipment.
Monitors daily charge activities for accuracy.
Assists in preparing budgets; monitors and operates within budget guidelines.
Ensures correct usage and compliance with national protocols and the State of Wisconsin Regulations.
Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which includes coaching on performance, completes performance reviews and overall staff morale. Recommends hiring, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions, and terminations.
Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization's business.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required
Radiation Therapy (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Education Required
Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
Experience Required
Typically requires 3 years of experience in radiation therapy, which includes experience as a lead or senior level staff.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, staff, patients and their families.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office applications or similar products.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must lift up to 20 lbs. continuously and over 100 lbs. occasionally.
Must stand/walk 85% of the time as well as lift, squat, bend, twist and reach above shoulders.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
Exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical and radiation hazards.
