About The Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prepare and submit RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and project documentation.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project status to high-level stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement activities, subcontractor agreements, equipment, and material logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and customer requirements.
  • Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.
  • Support estimating, preconstruction, and project closeout activities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • High School Diploma – required; additional industry education or training is ideal.
  • Servant-leader with 5+ years of Infrastructure Construction Project Management (i.e.: Industrial Plants, Railroad, Aviation Fueling Systems, etc.) including managing budgets and schedules.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, construction methods, project controls, contract administration, and cost management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, HCSS, Unifier, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced highly demanding environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence – must be able to quickly build rapport with employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Leadership skills with prior experience managing people and teams; work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading large, complex industrial construction projects.
  • Experience managing projects within one or more of Kinley's core markets, including Railroad, Government, Aviation, Energy, Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E), or Industrial Services.
  • Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
  • Experience mentoring Project Engineers or junior Project Managers.
  • Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for future work.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
