About The Role

1.Ensures each patient is identified correctly in the system according to procedure by using at least 2 identifiers such as Name and DOB and reviewing the EPIC photo.
2.Highlight the wristband and have patient verify name and date of birth before placing the ID band on patient. Explain to the patient the ID band is for their safety.
3.Completes the pre-admission process for all patients presenting to the Emergency Center for treatment.
4.Explains forms to the patient and obtains signatures for consent for treatment/
