About The Role
Job Overview
- This role ensures accurate and timely timekeeping for Primoris Energy Services projects in Hubbard, Texas, supporting payroll and project cost tracking.
- Job Responsibilities:**
- Collect, review, and verify employee timecards and timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Input time data into the company's timekeeping system, adhering to established deadlines.
- Reconcile discrepancies in time entries and collaborate with employees and supervisors to resolve issues.
- Process and track leave requests (e.g., vacation, sick leave) and other time-off accruals.
- Generate regular timekeeping reports for payroll processing, project management, and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintain organized and confidential timekeeping records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state, and federal labor laws regarding timekeeping.
- Assist with new hire onboarding related to timekeeping procedures.
- Communicate effectively with employees and management regarding timekeeping policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a timekeeping, payroll, or administrative role, preferably in a construction or energy services environment.
- Proficiency in timekeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes and labor laws.
