Job Summary**
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an Electrician specializing in Renewables to join our Desert Pine team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for renewable energy projects, requiring a valid driver's license for travel to various work sites.
Job Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and specifications for solar, wind, and other renewable energy projects.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts and equipment placement.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Work at heights, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, and operate various power tools and equipment safely.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation, including work orders and inspection reports.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, project managers, and supervisors.
- Travel to various project sites as required, often in remote locations.
Job Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electrician, with specific experience in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.) strongly desired.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and eligibility to drive company vehicles.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb, stoop, kneel, and work in various weather conditions.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites.
