About The Role

The Carry-On Compliance Agent is responsible for enforcing the airline’s 1+1 carry-on baggage policy and identifying oversized luggage at designated checkpoint areas. This role ensures passengers comply with carry-on regulations before entering the boarding area, while maintaining excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

  • Enforce the airline’s 1+1 carry-on baggage policy consistently and professionally.
  • Identify oversized or excess carry-on items.
  • Direct non-compliant passengers to the JetBlue ticket counter for baggage resolution.
  • Monitor and manage the designated compliance area to maintain orderly passenger flow.
  • Provide clear instructions and courteous assistance to passengers regarding baggage policies.
  • Communicate effectively with airline personnel and airport staff regarding operational concerns.
  • Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Report issues, incidents, or customer concerns to supervisors as needed.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during high-volume passenger interactions.
  • Prior airport, airline, security, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy airport environment.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

  • Airport terminal environment.
  • High passenger traffic and continuous public interaction.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods may be required.
