Heather Cox Insurance LLC is seeking motivated, customer-focused Independent Contractors to provide exceptional customer support through the Arise® Platform. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping others while maintaining complete flexibility over their work schedule.

As an Independent Contractor, you will have the opportunity to select the Fortune 500 client programs you service, choose your own schedule in 30-minute increments, and work entirely from home.

This is not an employee position. Contractors operate as self-employed business owners and receive IRS Form 1099 for tax reporting.

• Provide outstanding customer service by phone.
• Assist customers with account questions, billing inquiries, product information, or order support depending on the client program selected.
• Accurately document customer interactions.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
• Meet client quality and performance standards.
• Complete any required client certification before servicing.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must legally reside in one of the eligible hiring states listed above.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional and friendly phone etiquette.
• Strong computer navigation skills.
• Ability to multitask while speaking with customers.
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Computer meeting Arise Platform technical requirements.
• Ability to pass any client-required background screening (requirements vary by client).

Compensation Structure

• During required client certification training, compensation is $6.00 per approved training hour.
• After successfully completing certification and receiving approval to provide client services, compensation increases to $12.00 per approved service hour.

Background Check Requirement

• A $30.00 background check fee paid directly by the Agent to an approved third-party screening provider.

Background Check + Drug Screening Requirement

• A $75.00 background check and drug screening fee paid directly by the Agent to an approved third-party screening provider.

Heather Cox LLC does not collect or retain these screening fees. Any required screening fees are paid directly by the Agent to the third-party provider responsible for completing the screening.

Certification Class Confirmation Deposit

A $50.00 class confirmation deposit is required to confirm your certification class seat.

The deposit will be returned to the original payment method after you

• Attend the entire first scheduled day of certification training; and
• Complete all required attendance and participation requirements for that day.

Failure to attend the complete first day of certification training may result in the deposit not being returned due to administrative scheduling costs.

Important Independent Contractor Information

This opportunity is for an Independent Contractor (1099) and is not employment with Heather Cox Insurance LLC. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, business expenses, and maintaining the equipment and internet service required to perform services.
